Batman the Dark Knight Rises Toys, Action Figures, and Statues
We have more updates on the Batman toys, action figures and statues for Nolan’s third installment of The Dark Knight Rises. These figures and statues are not yet available in stores but will be released this coming summer in June and July. They look extremely articulate and depicts the actors in the Dark Knight Rises with various poses and they can’t look any better.

Here we go again. After every great summer block buster, there comes the merchandise and action figure for the game. Have you notice before the Green Lantern movie with Ryan Reynolds, the Green Lantern merchandise is scarce and hard to find in toy stores but shortly after the Green Lantern movie was announced, toy stores quickly designate a section of their store to Green Lantern? Well the same goes for Batman and since Batman is such a huge icon in the DC universe, this is nothing new. Big toy retailers such as Toys R Us did not have to make room but simply add to their on going Batman merchandise. These new Batman action figures from the Batman movie ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ are a great new addition to a great line of Batman action figures.

Hot Toys has released several pictures circulating the web about their upcoming Batman Micheal Keaton 1989 1/6 figure from Tim Burton’s Batman movie. Hot Toys has done a spectacular job creating past replica models from other super hero movies but when it comes to the Batman Micheal Keaton 1989 1/6 figure, hot Toys has taken the cake. This is by far one of the best Batman replicas out on the market today.

Batman Micheal Keaton 1989 1/6 figure: My Thoughts.
This is by far the most articulate piece of art that I have ever seen for super hero toys and statues. The first time I saw this figure, I thought they digitally redid the Keaton’s Batman to give it a new look in anticipation for the upcoming Batman The Dark Knight Rises movie. I was horribly wrong and for the next 15 minutes, I sat and drooled at how beautiful this Batman Micheal Keaton 1989 1/6 figure is. There is no doubt about that this is Micheal Keaton under the Bat Cowl. This Batman Micheal Keaton 1989 1/6 figure comes very close to the busts that are made for articulation but with movable parts. The arm appears to be movable. the cape comes on and off. The mouth piece has 3 parts to show different expressions from a small grin, to serious, to bloody and is exchangeable via strong magnets within the head. The hands can be removed and replaced with 6 different hand forms. So what makes this Bat suit design so much more popular then the mainstream counter-part from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight? For me, Keaton will always be the best Batman and the classic Bat suit design was a bigger jaw dropper than Nolan’s Bat suit. Given the fact that Nolan’s Bat suit is more practical for crime fighting, the Keaton’s Bat suit was simply a big hit to my childhood. There are Batman Dark Knight Rises figures on the market right now but they will never be as beautiful and articulate as this Batman Micheal Keaton 1989 1/6 figure from Hot Toys. but unfortunately the beauty of this figure does not come without a price. These toys are made with a limit and they are available online for over $200. You can find them on Ebay for a cheaper deal but as time goes and these figures are sold out form the major retailers, you can expect to see these figures sold for upwards of $1000. The exceptional talents of Keaton as Batman shines even in today’s market and the 1989 Keaton’s Batman is alive again.

So a few weeks ago Hot Toys put up a picture of their upcoming statue for Bane. the problem is, this picture is only a teaser due to Bane’s cut off head.According to Hot Toys, This statue of Bane will be released before the Batman Dark Knight Rises movie comes out. What is missing from the picture? What about all the other characters? Hot Toys also put up a picture of their version of the Tumbler. For all you collectors out there, This tumbler would make a great addition to the collection.

Batman Dark Knight Rises Statues From Dc Direct.
thanks to our friends over at SuperHeroHype, We now have images from the upcoming Batman movie of Bane, Batman and Catwoman. These statues look extremely articulate. Bane’s appearance does not reveals any spoilers from the movie. We really want to know if Bane will get beefy and extremely muscular like his comic book counterpart. Catwoman looks very nice but for Batman comic book fans like myself, we are not feeling the costume and Anne Hathaway as Catowman (at lease not yet).

This Batman bobble head is my favorite Batman bobble head out there right now. Why? I really love this costume design. The grey body with the black gauntlet, boots mask and cape looks great on Batman. The classic yellow utility belt adds vintage style and one of the new bat logo finishes the whole costume to perfection. The huge wave of Batman Action figures that was born from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight has arrived and is hitting the shelves across North America and on the internet by storm. When you walk into a Toys R Us and look at their DC comics section, you will find Christian Bale’s Batman merchandise everywhere. So obviously a Batman bobblehead would come out sooner or later.This Batman bobble head is a great replica of Christian Bale’s version of Batman. I love the podium that he stands on. Every little detail is added to this Batman bobble head. The only thing that i have a problem is, is that the bobble head is basically one color: Black. I cannot finish the Batman Bobble head collection without mentioning the true prince of darkness, the Joker. The Joker has always been my all time favorite Batman villain in the Batman mythos because he adds dark humor that we all truly enjoy hearing but we are too afraid to admit it. If the world did not know who the Joker was before Christopher Nolan’s Batman The Dark Knight trilogy, they do now after Heath Ledger takes his role as the Joker to a level that no other actor can take on in the near future.
